Lukas Podolski is out of favor with Arsenal as the German attacker is not a consistent player under the guidance of Arsene Wenger and he was rumored of being on his way of making a move to Turkey and join Galatasaray but it seems like the transfer will not occur as the Turkish team is no longer interested in signing the 30 year old German player.

For a transfer fee in the region of €9 million, Podolski was expected to make a move from Arsenal and enter the Turkish lands of Galatasaray but the club which performs in the Super Lig pulled away from the transfer before it could be completed.

HamzaHamzaougle is the manager of Galatasaray and he admitted in saying that they were interested in signing Podolski during the previous winter transfer window but his team has lost their interest.

Hamzaougle said: “Podolski is not on our radar right now. He was in the winter but not right now.”

When Inter Milan agreed to sign Lukas Podolski on a loan deal, the Italian side had the option to extend that loan deal into a permanent deal but since Podolski never really managed to stand out during his time with the Italian side and the German player had to return to Arsenal.

Now that Galatasaray has revealed that they are no longer interested in signing Podolski, the future of the experienced player is unclear once more as he does not want to continue performing at the Emirates Stadium if his role continues being as nothing more than a substitute player.

The summer transfer window is quickly approaching and if any club launches an offer for Podolski, the best choice for Arsenal and for the player himself would be to accept it.

By offloading Podolski, Arsenal will slash their wage bill and at the same time Podolski is going to get a fresh start with another club.
